Friday Afternoon Tea
Unsmoked Lapsang Souchong
Unsmoked Lapsang Souchong
This classic leaf hails from the Wuyi mountains of China, offering the sweet plummy smooth earthy notes of that region in a black tea style that pulls forward full-bodied floral and cacao notes. Only recently has unsmoked Lapsang become popular outside its native region, and we are so glad to finally have access to it from our partners at the Lin family farm! This tea's more famous counterpart, the smoked Lapsang Souchong, is a popular worldwide favorite that is also worth checking out if you enjoy a good campfire flavor!
Ingredients: Black tea
Approximately 75mg of caffeine per cup
Steep at 190° F or 87.8°C for 2-4 minutes.

You can’t find this tea anywhere else, and thanks to Friday tea it was able to get exactly what I wanted. It’s fresh, smooth, and rich in body. It has the plum and cacao notes as described, with an ever so slight smokiness that lingers in the finish. I’m so happy I ordered this lovely tea. I plan to continue ordering more. Please keep this one available!
