Lovely lemon lends luxury to landscapes of lavish laurel: lush and loaded with layers of leaves, lucky!

Ingredients: Black tea, lemon myrtle, rainbow sugar*, lemon peel, natural lemon flavoring, gold lustre dust*

     *Rainbow sugar contains: sugar, FDC yellow 5, yellow 6, blue 1, red 3, red 40 lake, maltodextrin, carnauba wax
     *Gold lustre dust contains: mica, titanium dioxide (E171), yellow 5 and 6 lake, rice extract, red 3, blue 1 lake
 

Approximately 60mg of caffeine per cup for black tea base

Approximately 3mg of caffeine per cup for decaf black tea base

Steep at 200° F or 93°C for 3-5 min

A lemony delight

A lemony delight! I was concerned the black tea based might overpower the more nuanced lemon notes (I've mostly had lemon teas with green or white bases), but the base is just subtle and sturdy. The lemon is very prominent and definitely the primary note for this blend. It does lean a bit towards the Lemon Pledge end of the lemon scale; I'll experiment with steeping time to see if that mitigates that note. The rainbow sugar provides some sweetness to balance the lemon, and the lustre dust is just plain fun. If you like lemon, this is a great one to try.

Quest over before it began

some time ago (as you may know) i embarked on a great peach quest, to find the best peach tea. i also enjoy lemon, so i resolved to, at some point, do this for lemon black tea. fortunately, i do not need to do this, because Slut 4 Lemon exists. the best lemon tea is here for me, already, and all I had to do was wait for Pride.
