Oh, my friend. You have no idea what you've just discovered. Yellow teas are extremely rare due to their labor-intensive "sealed yellowing" or "smothering" phase and tendency to show off any imperfection in the leaf. This special process develops a buttery mouthfeel and floral-fatty delicate white chocolate aroma unmatched by any other style of tea!

The HONEYFAIRYLAND cultivar is Friday's white whale. The one that got away. The gold standard. THE yellow tea. We had the opportunity to try a sample years ago, and have been trying to get it in stock for you ever since. Finally, we've been able to bring on a small batch direct from the organic estate in Yunnan, China!

This pure tea tastes like irish butter infused with golden-tipped, robust Yunnan Gold black tea. It's absolutely one-of-a-kind, and everyone who tastes it falls madly in love. This is almost certainly a gift from the fae realm, which we mortals are graced with occasional opportunities to savor.

Literal magic

Perfect. Sublime. I'm just grateful to be alive in the same time period that this tea could be imported to seattle.

Lovely in every way

This is the prettiest tea! Such a lovely bright gold, which started rather reddish and faded to a lovely yellow as we went along. Steeped our sample six times and every cup was better than the last! Around the fourth steep, the butter drops out and we started getting these really lovely floral notes. Truly a lovely way to spend an entire morning.

The Tea I didn't know I needed

Mellow, rich and earthy. Brews well. I forgot about it and it only left a little bit of astringency.
