Purpley-silver hue overlays a deep rich green leaf in this Chinese steamed green tea. If you've enjoyed Japanese Gyokuro teas, our Colombian Green Wiry, and/or Chinese Bi Lo Chun (green eyebrows) style teas, you're already in love with Enshi Yu Lu. The quality of this tea is impeccable, and the many layers of sweet green flavor and texture open like a gift on your tongue over multiple infusions. Truly a rare gift from the Wufeng tea farm in mountainous central China.

This tea is delightful and invigorating. Although I wouldn't suggest using it for iced tea due to its delicacy, it remains refreshing even when served hot, making it an excellent choice for green tea in Spring and Summer. Rich in local Taoist traditions, this rare "steamed" green tea hails from Enshi, China. With its flavor and aroma, one can envision the mist-covered mountains of Enshi, deeply infused with the essence of the Chinese countryside. The fragrance is profoundly green and vegetal, evoking memories of spinach or asparagus. The flavor evolves through multiple steeps when brewed Gong Fu style, transitioning from a light, grassy note to a rich, vegetal profile with a smooth mouthfeel, complemented by a hint of minerality.
I wholeheartedly recommend this exquisite Jade Dew, as it allows me to appreciate the culture of Enshi even here in the United States.
