Purple tea is a relatively new varietal from Kenya. Processed like a green tea, and indeed sharing Gunpowder's classic green flavor profile. The best part? This leaf has a secret...it starts off as a delicately cloudy grey-green brew but when you add a little bit of citrus to the cup, your tea will transform to the most delightful bright pink color!

Approximately 35mg of caffeine per cup

Steep at 180° F or 82.2°C for 2-4 min
