I steeped this one on the low end of the time range (2 minutes for the first steep, 4 for the second) at around 205 Fahrenheit, added a bit of sugar and had a pretty good result. It’s malty with a bit of extra flavor from the Darjeeling and I find it a strong and fun flavor profile!

I paid attention to a previous comment about the brewing instructions (seriously, huge thanks for that!) but it still came out bitter. On top of that as far as teas go this isn't a particularly unique or different one and while I know the site also carries classics and pure teas this one is marketed in the fandom blends and just misses the mark on top of just being too finicky to brew on a regular basis.

This tea has bright pops of citrus notes set against a dark stage of earthiness. With cream it gains robust chocolate notes as the highlights mellow. It's a seriously delightful brew for black tea lovers.

So, pay attention to the steeping instructions, then dial them back a hair on the first steep. If you go in with standard black tea mode roiling boil, you're going to have a bitter brew. Even at the recommended 205, I find that first steep only needs to be a minute at most. (I don't actually take the temperature since my kettle's not set up for that. Boil, then let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute to cool a bit. Close enough.) Then it's a tasty light tea with that Darjeeling character over a bit of malty Assam body. You can get another steep or two out of it, since the Assam doesn't nearly give up all its brew in that amount of time, while the Darjeeling becomes more aroma enhancement.
